It’s been - what? Almost 10 years? I was afraid this had been deleted by now. But someone posted, anonymously, on a post that had deep impact on me…and that brought me back to look. I can’t even remember who I was ten years ago. I guess it’s time to get to know me again.

I'm still here. No one else I knew from the old LJ days is still active except for me. Literally no one reads my LJ, but it is my time capsule, as you put it, and I have continued it. I am in the process of transferring the entries from here into physical books. So far I've done 2001 and 2002.... still a long way to go! I can show you a wee video of the 2001 book if you're interested.

And while we were both different people ten years ago, your journal from that time is what led me to ask you to be godmother to Caitie, so I have no doubts it will show you in a good light. ;) We've both grown and matured and learned so much since then though, that I think there will always be those cringy moments looking back, and we'll be grateful to be the current versions of ourselves.

I’m having trouble seeing anything from before 2006. I wonder if it’s the app, or I need to pay for my account maybe?

Oh, that's super strange. I've got public posts within the last year that anyone should be able to see without a login, and you're definitely still on my friends list so all my friends-only should be visible to you. It should be affected by a paid membership either. Weird. Might be the app?
