Pain and Produce

Oct 04, 2012 00:29

So today was the last farm stand of the season.  I'm a little sad, a little nostalgic, and a little relieved.  I am also in a great deal of pain, but I'll get to that later.  Overall, it was a good season and we made over $4,100.  This makes me happy, but I'm happier that the thing exists at all and that other people have had a chance to sell ( Read more... )

I'm glad your last farm stand went well. I'm a little sad that the farmers' markets will be closing soon. I need to stock up while I can before I have to buy all my produce in the supermarket instead! LOL.

Your poor foot! I certainly hope that pain eventually eases up. If it's not feeling better within a couple days, I'd see a doctor. Better safe than sorry.

As much as I love fall, I hate that moment in which I actually have to go to the grocery store to buy produce. This year should be better, though, since we have the greenhouse.

And, yeah, it's plantar fasciitis!

Its good to hear that your produce stand made such a good income this year, hope the next one is even better.

I'm sorry about your foot, I don't think is a tendon as that would imply you hurt it in someway and you said you didn't. However, I think you should get it checked by a doctor as soon as possible. Also another thing you should think about is if you were wearing sandals or an open shoe that you could have been bitten by something.

Hope you get better soon *hugs*

Thanks!

And you were totally right about the tendon. It's plantar fasciitis!

Oh man, I hope it's not PF. I've been dealing with that since Jan. Does it hurt more when you've been sitting/resting/sleeping and then start walking around? That's a big indicator of it.

I hope it's just a strain and feels better soon.

Stretch your calves as much as you can. What a pain in the ass.

I just got the not-so-good word. It's plantar fasciitis! What kind of calf stretches?

Oh bless you. I hope it isn't Plantar Faciitis. My mother had that after she had her hip replaced. The operation made her walk in a different way which brought on the foot pain.
*big hugs and lots of prayers* I hope it gets better soon.
