Wow. Thank you for sharing this (and your other) recent post. Fascinating and a billion times different than my daily surroundings.

I will never understand the 'lets get drunk and dumb' philosophy. It was one of the things that drew me to the straightedge lifestyle years ago. I used to get really angry about it, but now I just get sad for the folks caught up in it. Just pointless when there is that kind of risk to others involved.

I used to love going to Hollywood on Halloween. Boingo and KROQ used to throw great Halloween concerts. :) Sounds like it's gotten a bit rough.
