I don't use this anymore either really, but on ocassion I'll peek in. Things have changed a lot for a lot of folks in so many different ways. Many people left LJ for Twitter or other journal sites, some left Twitter for Mastodon or other journal sites. AIM kept growing and growing and then they decided to end it, so people took to Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak, Telegram, Signal, so many other things.

No matter where, it is always good to bump into an old friend tho. *hugs*

It is! *hugs*

I'm in a lot of those places too, but I think the one that's the most journal-y is Facebook, and...eew.

I still peek in every now and again, but as a whole, I don't use it anymore. I've lost track of so many people, it's ridiculous. I don't even really do much on Facebook anymore. I'm on Discord and Twitter, but I don't even really use Twitter all that much anymore either. C'est la vie, I guess.

Same here! Social media has its place, for sure, but despite being a lifelong nerd, tech worker and very much an Internet early adopter, I still get most of my kicks out of real life.
