How old is your daughter? About to ask many more personal questions!
My partner, Kristine, and I are raising my daughter from my marriage. Her name is Josie and she is 11. We are not out to her, and people think it's really weird. But I will tell her the truth when she wants to know.

I do make costumes for other people, occasionally. :)

In terms of RP, it's mostly online (LJ, email, etc). No tabletop live games in the last umpteen years. But, especially at cons, I pretty much live-action it, I get into character of my costumes and surround myself with others also in character.
