So the lovely @kagamisky/inseiko asked me to type up some thoughts about AI9 for a radio program that she hosts, and since she is so lovely I am too happy to oblige her request. It's a nice write up. But you're still totally bitter about Didi and your dislike of Mike does come through.

And while I was all for Tim going in the first few weeks, he's since grown on me. And while he may not have superstar vocals, he has been steadily improving every week on stage presence and musical stylings. Which is more than can be said for other contestants.

Though I am finally remember Lee. Thanks to a bagpiper and forced grinning.

well, I liked Didi. She fits the kind of music that I like to listen to anyway. XD And even if I do understand why they used the save on Mike, I don't have to like it. >>;

I know you did. But you have to admit that she didn't have her best song choices or performances once she got into the top 12. But at least she'll be on the tour!

And Mike is boring. He can sing but the man puts me to sleep and I don't connect with him.

Actually I would say the key points probably are that this season isn't as good as the past two years, Crystal is pretty cool, and a lot of interesting people got voted off early on so we're left with folks who are not as entertaining to watch.

Also they seem to be focusing more on the judges and Ryan this year which is really irritating to someone who watches for the contestants. But when they're kind of boring (and when it's Simon's last year) I guess it's to be expected.

... there I go with my feelings again, lol. Don't mind me!
