That's odd about acupuncture. Because the NHS prescribe it. I've had several courses at hospitals.

I know they do.

There have been several double-blind studies over the last decade between acupuncture and sham acupuncture: there is no statistically significant difference.

The reason the NHS prescribes acupuncture is not because it works, but because there was a very effective lobby and a post-modern bias towards appearing to be 'open-minded'.
