I was really disappointed when Clinton lost the Democratic nomination. There is no surprise to that. My thought was that she would unite the country, and better our ties with the rest of the world

Ultimately I ended up supporting Obama in the primary, although I did not come to that decision lightly. I respected and continue to respect Hillary Clinton, and I do think she would have been a terrific president.

I was frustrated by some of her actions in the campaign, but once the primary season was over she was absolutely magnificent in her support for Obama and the Democratic ticket.

Nobody is smarter or tougher, and I think she'd be terrific at State. I hope it happens.
