Crafty Advice!

Hey, crafty folks! I need advice on sewing machines. Nothing horribly fancy, but I don't want something that'll break if you look at it crooked, or with denim. Preferably also not bank breaking.

EuroPro... any model will do. They rock, have all metal parts and are very affordable.

Singer and maybe Brother. I've used Singer pretty much exclusively, except for one school project where I used a Brother serger machine. Someday, I'll have a serger of my own. Maybe.

I love Elnas, more specifically the 20 some year old Elna Air machines - I personally, and other people agree, find them the most amazing machines. You can buy them second hand, sometimes, but because they are popular, they can be scarce (Here is the plain version: http://cgi.ebay.com/Elna-Jubilee-Air-Electronic-Sewing-Machine-model-45_W0QQitemZ130275373488QQcmdZViewItemQQptZBI_Sewing_Machines?hash=item130275373488&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50... )
