Umm. So, this is Olivia/Lincoln (that's really more Olivia and Lincoln and less Olivia/Lincoln, because I suck) comment fic for vinylroad that was, like, 50 words/characters/whatever too long to put in an actual comment (and looked all weird when I tried to split it into two comments) and she's probably forgotten all about this, because it was, like EONS

AHAHA, I am so glad that I actually scrolled through my flist today because I was NOT expecting this and I probably would have missed it! It was eons ago, but man, so so appreciated.

This was GREAT. I think the part that resonated with me the most is Olivia climbing in on the wrong side of the bed. That's how I imagine it really to be - the little differences that set them apart, the personal quirks that you don't really think twice about. Sure they have different hair, but I think what the show really laid bare was the fact that in the end, they really weren't all that different at all when push came to shove. I think this straddled that line perfectly.

(Also, I really loved that you didn't delve into their history, just left us enough information to surmise that something did happen between them.)

Oh, totally. I really liked that the show made it a point to show how similar both Olivias were and not just how different.

As for the history, I'm hoping we learn a bit more about Olivia and Lincoln's relationship next season, but I'm not really holding my breath, you know? ;)

Found this, so very late and on a desperate search for all the Lincoln/Olivia fic in the universe. It really is the little differences between them that matter the most, but it's not at all a stretch to think that Lincoln could love them both.
