Because I have better things to do with my time than be constantly punishing demons who think, foolishly, that they can take my place. Or perhaps it's just the sound of screaming I enjoy.
Since they can't win a fight in any event--or so you claim--it would save more time to let them try and fail, and be destroyed than to work elaborate 'punishments' that only serve to feed your delusions. I'd have thought an alleged immortal would have had the brains, or at least experience, to come up with a better 'hobby' than noise. Your average Spinal Tap drummer can pull that off.
