Character Name: Bobby Drake
Canon source: Marvel 616/X-Men
Personality: On the surface, Bobby’s defining characteristic would appear to be his immaturity. He’s goofy, silly, and occasionally impulsive. He cracks jokes. Older and more staid team members tend to find him at least a little annoying. However, this class clown sort of persona hides a number of insecurities. A good deal of his bluster is only feigned-while he does have great faith in his mutant abilities, he still feels deep down that nobody would like him for what he truly is-hell, at this point in his life he’s not even sure what that means. Additionally, while most of his friends and acquaintances wouldn’t let him anywhere near their taxes, he is studying to be a CPA and is slowly learning the basics of responsibility. He still likes pranks, though.
History:
Up until KrakoaStrengths:
-He’s very powerful, capable even of augmenting his strength with ice bits somehow in addition to his more straightforward manipulation of ambient water. With a good deal of training he could potentially be able to exert control over water without necessarily converting it to a solid state as well as convert his entire body into “organic water,” allowing him to heal any wounds by reverting to an ice form and reconstituting himself.
-He’s quite imaginative with regards to his powers, sometimes employing them as a sort of Green Lantern ring
-He’s good with numbers!
-Very proficient in powered combat thanks to his X-Men training
-Does not feel the cold nor suffer any adverse effects
Weaknesses:
-Extremely dry climates. If there is no water or water vapor in his surrounding environment, he cannot exercise his powers.
-Somewhat more susceptible to sun damage than the average human
-He really lacks direction when attempting to function as an independent superhero
-Flying monkeys
-Completely and utterly inept at romantic relationships
Preferred drop-in point: Truth or Consequences so he can go around covered with water bottles and supersoakers all the time and start a humorous small business charging people for ice.
What are some of your plans for this character in their new environment?
Bobby will likely get himself in over his head plotwise and everythingwise, treating the general environment as if it were just a version of 616 that needed a little sprucing up. This will likely manifest itself in any number of boneheaded stunts, unless his friends can manage to rein him in.

Third Person Sample:
Bobby just barely managed to slide into the motel, only it wasn’t really sliding because he couldn’t get enough ice together because apparently god existed and totally hated him. If by some miracle Bobby ever managed to get home he was going to have to make it up to the big guy, maybe start going to church or temple or hey, both. If he went to temple Friday night and then to church on Sunday, that was practically a whole weekend of god-bothering and ought to cover all his bases, otherwise he could maybe find a mosque.
The motel itself wasn’t the nicest one he’d ever been in, but it was at least out of the sun and there was probably running water somewhere. His room, when he found it, was small and kind of dark, and there was other people’s stuff everywhere. He resolved to find some kind of apartment, just as soon as he found some money and maybe even a job. There had to be somebody out there looking for an almost-certified CPA, or else he could sell ice sculptures or something. Like for weddings. He could do some really good swans.
He caught himself, abruptly, already planning out a life for himself here. While he had every intention of returning home-well, eventually-this world kind of needed him, at least in the meantime. All of these people, transients or bleedthroughs or whatever, he still wasn’t clear on the terminology, they totally needed heroes, right? And it wasn’t like he wasn’t used to protecting a world that hated and feared him.
