I'm happy to announce that we I have bought my own a new place to live. It's in, apparently, an upscale apartment complex and it certainly wasn't cheap, though I have to admit, it's money well spent. Moved in the day before yesterday. The place is a mess right now since someone decided it would be a decent idea to hire an interior decorator

Not quite my own, but it's one step up from what I had before. Besides, my roommate generally knows to leave me alone.

I think it was a good idea to hire the decorator. I sure as hell was not about to go furniture shopping-besides, I don't think you would've agreed with my obviously higher class tastes.
