Her brother - each incarnation of them, even - could do many things, but parties were a special sort of event that even the goddess of chastity and virginity couldn't ignore. Artemis always insisted she came to be a wise, virtuous influence on the happenings, but really she just liked to spend a little time with her brother on his days off. He really didn't get enough of them.

"A dry martini," he said blithely. "One. In a deep champagne goblet. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel." He beamed. "Got it?"

"Looks like someone's having a party," he murmurs, then pulls out his phone and laughs as he sees the text from Apollo announcing the very same. The conversation he'd been half-considering having with Apollo can wait; this might be exactly what he needs.

Apollo had no need for actual flight, so it was up to the little lizardlet to teach herself how to fly. But she flapped over beside the wingèd god, chirping and trilling as she wobbled and weaved along.
Flying was hard work, after all.
