I am so sick of this stuff. I swear all we do in my family is argue. My sister always talks about how she is a grown up and is moving to Dallas and then my Dad always answers with "why don't you really grow up and get a better paying job and move out?" and then she plays the "God is calling me to Texas" card and tells us that we aren't real ( Read more... )

everyone's problems are relative. and i definitely dont think you're being selfish. it sounds like you just want to have a carefree life and i think we can all say we want that. well anyways, good luck with stuff and like jett said, we're all here willing to get away with you!

As they said, all problems are relative, so don't worry about that. My family argues all the time too, specifically my mom/dad, me/mom, and I hate that I am so financially dependent on them... I would get an apartment in a minute if I had a job/money to pay for living on my own. Think of it this way: a few more years, and you will have a job and a life to call your own. You'll have a deck to watch the stars and you can move down south where the weather will be warm. :) Just stay strong through these next few years... they're rough, but hopefully, they'll be over after you graduate.
