Just got home to sit down to do my daily shift of work and my mom calls me to say that she's at the emergency room at one of the local hospitals. Just so YOU all don't panic the way I did, no one is dead, dying or brutally injured

I hope it's not appendicities, either, and that it's something as innocuous as gas.

The same thing happened to Aimee when she was about 15 or 16. She's still embarrassed about the fact that it "only" turned out to be gas -- but she said it was a horrible, HORRIBLE pain.
