Just got an email from my dad that he clearly meant to send last night. On November 1st, the city of Montreal had mayoral elections, but since I'm technically not in Montreal, but in a separate city on the island, I didn't vote. I should have had elections in my city, but the mayor AND my councilman were both uncontested, so I didn't have to go out
