Yes, it does. I often feel people are actually mislead by my superficial qualities; the humor, the beauty, the intelligence--what does it mean, really? And what am I at the core? Something nasty? I believe you when you say you are interested in getting to know me. The problem lies in my ability to open up. People think I do, and that is accurate to a point. But most of what I share is extremely superficial. A true friend isn’t satisfied with shallow water. They need depth and seek to find it. It is important to them to understand those they love
