Reading that made me sick with worry.

Where I grew up, we lost three children in ponds over the years. Devastating and very much not funny. The families were never the same.

Rule 34: Do not let Brothers drown in icy ponds.

Ice rescues. First you act, then you shiver... even after you're warm and dry again.

Glad you and the dog are okay. I hope you never have to do that again.

Nobody can leave the house until Beltane. No if, ands, or buts. You're grounded Missy, and those dogs and kids too. Yes, kids... cause that man qualifies if he exposed you to that much risk. EVERYBODY OUT OF THE POOL!

On a more serious note, I'm glad you're all okay. Dogs are precious, and we love them, but their life expectancy and yours should be radically different. Please don't ruin the actuarial tables by dying early!
