(When half the upper floor is in disarray and needs putting back together we thought one might as well take the chance and rip out the wall-to-wall carpeting that has been there since the 70s that we have been discussing the removal of since we moved

Oh, hello there, almost week-old post :P

Meant to comment and say that both your choice of physical and digital (LJ) wallpapers are v. neat, and fitting the inhabitants quite well. Also, as it happens, you posted about your hunt for wallpapers just after I knocked the last nail into my walls... been redressing my living quarters a bit as well, but as I don't want to go through the bother of/can't afford to move out all my stuff and wallpaper or paint the walls, I just dug up a bunch of cloth remnants, a curtain or two, a few scarves and a couple of skirts and hammered them to the walls. Hah, total ghetto homemaking, but I'd still say it's a clear improvement.

Well, if we attempt to be there at noon then... if we leave at 10ish we should be there at some point between noon and one.
