sorry to hear about your troubles Ben. I wish I had some good advice to offer you, but i'm afraid I don't really. All I can say is.... defend yourself when you can, and don't let what other people think affect you. You're better than their silly gossip and you know it, so don't let it get you down, okay? Screw them! You're above all that Ben. Let them say what they say. As long as you and HIM know the truth, then that's all that really matters. I've been on the short end of the "gossip" stick too, and I know what you are going through. It sucks! But don't let it get to you. It only adds fuel to their fire. Don't give them any ammunition.
Besides, after a few dates with some nice girls, the rumors will be quashed.
