Hello readers! I'm posting thsi chapter now because I'm facing a horribly busy month-end sort of weekend and I don't know if I'll get any time for myself to do writing or posting activities.

Like the kids, I am now intrigued! I wanna see this Dragon Lady for myself, and see what wacky hijnks she'll get up to. Let's hope Lily is having a bad day and won't disappoint.

Oh, the second chapter already!
I loved this chapter - with everyone at one table, there's a guarantee for interesting conversations. :D
And the funniest thing about it is to see it all from JJ's perspective. That's quite unusual.
But sometimes I wonder how JJ ever managed to fall in love with Dee... I mean, I would rather think he disapproves of practically everything Dee does! Or maybe that's exactly WHY he loves him? I don't know... What do you think about this?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter! (And try not to drown in your work. Well, that's easier said than done...)

Well, the fact that Dee keeps saying 'no' to JJ is something that JJ finds irresistible. Like my diet analogy a few posts ago-- when you tell yourself, or someone else tells you that you can't have something, then you start to want it really bad.

Also, Dee is handsome and tough and has lots of sexual experience. JJ wants to be the one who tames the wild stallion with love. But because JJ is so self-involved, he doesn't really know who Dee is and what he needs. JJ's feelings for Dee are mostly lust. He thinks if he could make Dee his own, then he could cure Dee of any annoying habits he has.

They could never be a couple even for a day. There would be explosions and tears!

I'm trying not to drown in my work! I can't drown before I've ever seen Las Vegas. Thanks for your kind words.

Yeah, that sounds logical. And since JJ doesn't give up very easily when he doesn't get what he wants, it will take some time until he finally leaves Dee alone! xD

Oh, believe me, when you write a multi-chapter story in JJ's POV, he really takes up residence in your head.

Yeah, I'm pretty tough. And at least I live in a world with coffee.

Which of JJ's many problems are you having the same reaction to?

Here is a short list:

1. He feels Drake is in danger
2. No one will take his fears seriously
3. Drake stood JJ up and JJ missed a really good art opening
4. JJ himself could be Lily's next victim if he returns to that restaurant
5. Dee mystifyingly enjoys spending his free time with Ryo instead of with JJ
6. JJ had to eat a really awful dinner--with NO crème fraiche-- and suffered from indigestion afterward.
