thanks for those that gave some good advice...But i guess i didnt clarify something though....I did offer to still go on the date with him...but once i told him that i really wanted to just be his friend...he stopped talking to me. I mean, i will be his friend.

Its really a sad situation. Maybe he still feels some resentment? Give him time, i'm sure it'll work out!

The question I am asking is why aren't you willing to be more? What changed about him in the however long conversation you had that made you no longer like him? Yes, I know he is positive. Yes, I know that that can be scary and difficult. But does his HIV status really mean that he doesn't deserve the same chances for love that everyone else does?
