I'm not on a contract with Nextel anymore, and I'm considering going with another company.

In the meantime, I'm going through ebay for a newer phone at least.

I can't speak highly enough about Alltel. I've been through Nextel, T-Mobile, Virgin... and I tell you that Alltel has been the most reliable, most decently priced and the best phone (the LG Scooooop)!

I couldn't beat the deal I got. 1000 minutes/month + 5 my circle + free nights/weekends + 1000 text/picture messages = $61/month AFTER taxes.

I just upgraded two weeks ago with Verizon. The guy there was telling us that Verizon bought alltel towers. I only get charged 20 a month for all the extras. Unlimited tv,web, texts, and navigator. I have the Lg voyager and I love it. It is everything in one. I don't even need my ipod anymore I put all of my music on my phone now I only have to carry one thing. I have had Verizon now for4 years and have been happiest with them.
