Saturday, 8/10/2002 - Day 7
It's twilight now - I'm back on the train, taking a short break from the dome car to write this. We're well into British Columbia, closing in on Kamloops - where we are now is about where Kris Beech is from, not that that's really relevant to the trip.
The week in Jasper ended well. No souvenirs to speak of, except a Royal Canadian Mounted Police shirt - that's pretty cool, though. It's difficult to write - this train is rocking back and forth - you wouldn't believe how well this motion makes you sleep, even if writing is kind of bad.
Yesterday's entry was pretty long, so I'll spare you the introspection tonight. Though I will say that after a week in close contact with my family, I'm looking forward to more freedom in Vancouver - I've got one whole day set aside for my friends alone. I also spent an hour in an internet caf
