I would like to have a light brite. yeah.

A random annoyance of mine is mothers who refer to their child's age in months after their first year of life. I hear this "ohhh he's 19 moths old" garbage at work all the time. That is completely ridiculous to me. After twelve months, why the hell would you not just say "he/she is one"??? ugh.

It's a momma thing, all mothers can connect like that: babies learn to stand at 10 months, 11 months can say 1-2 words, first steps at month 13, ~20 word vocabulary at 18 months, learn to run at 18 months, potty trained and playing with puzzles/ interacting with other children at 22 months. The actual month says a lot when you're talking about the baby if you know the landmarks cuz one year could mean anything from a swaddling baby to a baby who talks and climbs stairs. An annoyance of mine is hearing "he's one year old" and finding out he's 22 months old (big difference). I work with babies all day and think in terms of months.

Oh, and I love brite lites.

I guess I never thought of it from that point of view. Maybe because I've never really been around babies... and I've never been a momma.
