I don't get the big deal about birthdays. So I'm one day older than I was yesterday. Big. Woop. It's not like it was some great accomplishment. Everyone was born. Why should my birth, which happens to have been 19 years ago today, stand out from anyone else's? Happy Birthday to me.

You know what else? It sucks because birthdays are built up as if they're supposed to be UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME, so if you just have a mediocre day, you feel dissapointed. The expectations for one stupid day are way too high and you're basically doomed from the start.

...But with that said, I hope you had a good one :)

Well I suppose I could wish you a happy day every day of the year, since that is something i would wish upon you, but don't you think it would get kind of monotonous having someone wish you that every day?
