He answered the door, and without a second thought, pulled the blonde into his arms.
Minutes passed by as they stood, wrapped around each other, cautious that the slightest movement would shatter the moment.
Crystal blue eyes welled up, tears eventually falling with nothing but a whimper passing his lips.
Dampness started to seep through the brunette’s shirt, in return, he held his lover closer to his body, running his hand up and down his back, gently rubbing the trembles away.
“How long, Sunshine?” The question left his lips as barely a whisper, but the answer would mean everything.
“Forever.”
