When you’re younger, people will tell you that it’s just a phase; that once you settle down, you’ll become content, and the feeling will wear off. You’ll fall in love, the years will pass by, and then finally, when it hits you and you need to escape, you’ll be in too deep to even contemplate trying to escape.
But right now, it’s like my heart could burst out of my chest. And in this moment, the way we fit so perfectly together, with so many different emotions coursing through my body, I can’t imagine a time without it, without him.
