Hey there, speaking of lyrics.....have you seen the lyrics to the song "Michael Stipe" by the band P? Apparently they mention River Phoenix. I've searched on the web for them but have had no luck. And Rio's Attic doesn't have any acknowledgement of the song. I guess it's because some of the people in the band P were among River's "drug friends"? I'm just conjecturing, but that's the only reason I can see for why they wouldn't have included it. It would be nice to hear a song about River that was written before he died, by people who actually knew him..
So how did you find out about this song? That's odd that's it called "Michael Stipe" and it mentions River. hmm..I've never heard about it and I use to be into Michael Stipe a lot. So it was written before he died??? Wow. How weird. I'd be interested to hear more about it.
