OMG GURL YOU LIKE A LOT OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES. WE'LL HAVE TO HAVE MOVIE CHATZ. I like to mix entertainment value with artistic merit, so some of my choices may be unconventional, but I guess it works.
I NEVER NOTICED OH MANY SHOWS WE HAVE IN COMMON. AWESOME.
It looks like I watch most of the shows on your list, so this'll be interesting. I simply have to agree re. The X-Files. A tv show that had episode titles like Postmodern Prometheus and Memento Mori, and was possibly the first show with a ginormous internet fanfic archive should always claim cult status. ER - I'm one of those people that drifted away once the original cast left and came back to watch the final ep, but then again, it is kinda like the prototype for all current medical shows (scrubs, grey's) The Exorcist & Twin Peaks - umm....I don't watch them in the evenings. I get spooked easily. I see that you like shows that have well written, strong characters who carry the weight of the series. If I may, I'd like to rec 2 shows - The Closer and In Plain Sight. They both have very strong female characters who kick ass. :)

I SO FUCKING AGREE. AND YOU SHOULD DIRECT ME TO THE FANFIC SPOTS ;)

Lolz, I know right??

I came across this fic sometime last year, soon after the movie. It was one of the best fic that I've ever read. (It's full of spoilers for the second movie) Hard Times, Come Again No More

Fleming's Wizard of Oz was my favourite movie as a kid. I would watch it every time I went to my grandparents' house!
