This was absolutely gorgeous. You really got to, as obrien_blue put it, I think, the lovey caramel center of Brennan. And you did it through her scientific belief, which made it authentic, and exraordinary and beautiful.

And, I have to say, it's one of my favorite endings ever. Ev. Er.

Oh my. Here you are tackling something so deep, something I could never imagine tackling in my own words... yet you make it seem effortless. Not to mention that you add this quality to your writing that makes it so incredibly readable.

You're yet another one of those writers who just gets Brennan inside and out. And being more of a Booth writer, it's always a pleasure to read pieces written by writers like you.

LOL I must say, it's a constant fight with my muse, but when it works I can really speed through the writing process. Plus Brennan just comes so naturally to me, whereas with other characters and fandoms, I find it so completely difficult to even imagining capturing their voices.

OOOh! I loved it. Being a dabbler in anthro at the uni level, it was awesome. The back and forth with the anthro, and then the religious was wonderful in its comparing and contrasting.

It would be. LOL I intended to write a post ep for FitI where Brennan compares hockey to Balinese cockfighting, but got stuck. :( It worked so well in my head, but I couldn't get it down in writing.
