So about how I'm leaving the country on Saturday.

Tomorrow morning, I fly to NYC for the Pre-Departure orientation and then Saturday pile into a taxi with faded_lace and yomimashou to JFK and fly out for JET.

I'd like to point out that packing, car insurance and laptop frustrations aside, I am still really excited to be heading out to live in Japan for a year or longer. Granted a portion ( Read more... )

Please be careful on the ground floor D: Not only are break-ins way more likely, but sexual predators choose ground floors apartments as an easy target as well, and even in Japan, there's crime. I've heard a lot of ground-floor horror stories, so... please be careful!

And yes ;A; Why won't we be near each other.

Yeah, that is the one thing I'm a bit frustrated with :/ I mean, I avoided the first floor even at Bryn Mawr XD But I think it'll work out okay, I just wont really dry clothes outside, and make sure to keep my doors locked/curtains drawn.

;~; I don't knooooooow. Its terribly sad.
