how does a person get over there obsession about what people think of them? i guess i should pray about that huh? i have a problem remembering to go to God first with a question instead of asking others for advice. maybe i should pray about that to...

Have them study on who they are in Christ. I'm getting over that problem myself, might be from my childhood, not sure. Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer is good too;
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 AMP
(5) [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
(6) Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete.

We have to compare our thoughts with the Word. Also, it's important to keep in mind;
Acts 10:42 AMP
(42) And He charged us to preach to the people and to bear solemn testimony that He is the God-appointed and God-ordained Judge of the living and the dead.Jesus is our judge, not anyone else. klk;kuklukkkjj kjk thank you for finding these verses for me. kj my 4 yr old is helping me type by the way. she likes the letter k. this is something that i really need to work on because its what keeps me from witnessing to my friends. they know that im a christian but they dont know how big of a part of my life Christ is. i want to be the kind of christian where if someone were to ask my friends to describe me the first thing to come to their minds would be that im a christian.
