Once upon a time, there was a princess named Sam Winchester.
And this princess? Man, was he ever pretty.
The pretty princess was sad, though, because despite his flowing locks and sculpted deltoids, he couldn't find suitable princes to hug. Sometimes princes would come up to him looking ready for hugs with a twinkle in their eyes, but they ran away crying about their ribs after one good squeeze from Princess Sam.
Princes were so disappointing.
Until -
One day -
Sam was languishing in the window seat of his tower, looking out over the classic car show that was set up on the castle green for the day, and he saw the most -
adorable -
squishable -
freckled -
huggable Prince he had ever laid eyes on. Gosh, Princess Sam thought, he looks so tiny from all the way up here, but I'm sure he's not that small in person.
Sam sent a footman down to fetch the squishable Prince and bring him to the tower. The Prince stood with his hands on his hips and craned his neck to look up at Princess Sam. No, he really was that tiny. Adorable.
“Do you,” Sam said breathlessly. “Do you think I could hug you?”
The handsome Prince arched an eyebrow. “Uh. Yeah, okay. Go for it.” He spread his arms wide.
Princess Sam gathered the squishable Prince into an enthusiastic embrace. There was a small squawk, but the Prince -
The Prince's ribs did not crack! He didn't run away!
Sam's heart filled with joy. This, he thought, must be the Prince for him, the only one in the land equal to Princess Sam's hugs.
“Okay, buddy. That's, um. That's nice,” the Prince said, tentatively patting Sam's back, where his gown's zipper strained against his well-developed shoulders.
And they lived happily ever after.
