and i think it may be the angle of the camera in those tops shots that make him look thinner. it's sorta hard to tell, but i don't think he looks quite as thin in the smaller pics further down the page.

I think it is the camera angle, too. I've noticed he's one of those guys who is almost all upper body (meaning, no hips, long but really lean legs.) Nothing wrong with that, but I think sometimes the wrong angle makes this type look smaller than they really are.
