Jet Lag

Just got in from England. Had to go to this smelly, old church to get this even older red necklace thingy. Kinda cute actually. I totally have this red dress that would look great with it.

Anyway, gonna meet up with Grae, Liz and Payton later at the Bronze. Definately not up to hanging with kids, but we hopefully wont stay long.

Continued from here

Dman, she asked straight out. "Not this year, maybe next," I say, vaguely. "Do you?" The comment about her girlfriends makes it sound like she's one of those girls who always goes around in a pack. Not that that isn't safer than going out a lone at night.

"Yeah," I say, sounding a little bit less interested than before. "I am president of the Tri Delts there."

Normally is against my nature to talk to younger guys, but I don't think anyone in this whole place is over 21 so I humor him.

"Yeah? Good for you," I say, trying to sound impressed. I caught the change in her tone, anyway--not interested in high school boys. I see some other girls com in behind her and nod. "Your friends?" I ask helpfully.

I look behind me and notice Grae, Liz and Peyton walk in. I nod and begin standing up. "Well, it was nice to meet you," I flash him a smile. "I'm Brittany."

I wave to the girls and begin walking towards them. Not sure if it's the too strong martini, or if I am just crazy. I pull out a slip of paper and a pen and begin to write. I turn back to the guy and place the slip of paper on the bar in front of him. I turn towards him, my face inches from his ear. "Call me sometime," I whisper.

I quickly turn around and run off to meet the girls.
