I see Sophie across the union, and start toward her, waving hello. I'm actually feeling a lot less uncomfortable about her since my date with Wyatt. I notice Brittany and some other sorority girls are doing another recruiting drive, passing something out, and I give them a wide berth. After what Wyatt said about Brittany and her crew, I'm wondering if I should try to weasel out of going to anything rush-related, even though I doubt Cecile will let us off the hook.

"Yeah, I mostly have stuff arranged. Amanda did a whole bunch with the room before I got there which I would never have thought of." I glance around nervously--lately any time I see Brittany I half expect Cecile to be coming out of the woodwork. "How are you classes so far? And didn't Jordy's band sound awesome the other other night? Jenny's singing was a nice addition."

I hear the blonde one say the word "fake", and I fight the urge to turn around. Gotta keep my eye on that one. I walk into the union.

I murmur, "Yeah, I was sort of warned to avoid her, but I dunno, could meet some interesting people at the rush stuff. Plus I don't think Cecile's gonna let any of us off the hook." I give her a chagrined smile. "I'm kinda hoping she'll decide to join and move in, and then she won't be next door anymore."
