Ooooh, these are gorgeous, love. I'm sure you already know which one I like, but I'll tell you anyway. I love the way Spock is standing in the first one; it's just so sexy to me. It's also awesome that he's staring at Kirk like a predator about to go hunting. Get your man, Spock, get. your. man. XD
Ok, first of all SQUEEEEEEE at the TSC promo, THE POSTERZZZZZ!!!!!! OOOMMMMMGGG!!! And all that blatant FFFLLLIIRRRTTIIINNGGG!!!!!
Ok, but I'm actually really super excited right now for another reason. So, ok... so... Gah, I can't even get the words to form in my mind. Ok, so have you considered discussing Shatner & Nimoy's filmographies? HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE SHATNOY COM LATELY??? Go there now, because apparently it was discovered that... you're not gonna believe this, unless you already know, but now I fucking know and I STILL can't believe it... Our dear Leonard Nimoy, the actor who played Spock, in Star Trek... PLAYED A GAY CHARACTER IN A MOVIE IN 1966!!! I. Shit. You. Not. Just... y'know, if anyone out there wants to argue that 'oh, but Leonard Nimoy would *NEVER* intentionally play a gay character...' uh... yeah... he would. And he DID!!!
INORITE???? I STILL CANNOT COMPREHEND THAT THIS IS EVEN REMOTELY POSSIBLE, BECAUSE IT'S JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. LEONARD. NIMOY. PLAYED. A. GAY. CHARACTER. MY BRAIN WON'T ALLOW ME TO ACCEPT IT AS TRUTH. NOT WILL IT ALLOW ME TO TURN OFF THE CAPSLOCK.
1. Whatever it is, it's first season, since that's Stiles at Navpost. Nice angle on the bridge, though~
2. I am convinced that the Klingon Empire's history books state that these two are some badass variation on married, and no-one will persuade me otherwise.
3. Honestly, the last time I watched this, I was so caught up in what a terrible day Spock was having that Kirk's stopping to sniff the flowers didn't even register! But hey, he's a farm-boy, liking growing things comes natural.
P.S. If you recently got a comment on your review/analysis of the episode "Who Mourns for Adnoais?" about Agamemnon... yeah. That was me. Sorry if it came across rude, I was tired. I'm not sure specifically what I wrote, now, except that I was trying to explain why Apollo would equate Agamemnon with arrogance.
If a Greek history and/or myth OR Shakespeare ref ever gives your trouble, I AM YOUR GIRL. Just so you know.
Also, you know about http://memory-alpha.org yeah? It is wonderful for the checking of how to spell one-episode names/places/random weird Treknological terms.
