i agree. my mom knows about my myspace, and im postivie she has checked it. she doesnt know about lj thnk god but i make t friends only so there is absolutley no way she can get to it. you make a good poit about the 8 people ina cabin thing. no one going to do that. okay, some people would, but its rare..

but trust me britt it gets worse till you leave and it comes to a head over winter break your freshman year in college cause your mom tries to make a last ditch effort to have any control over you and starts getting ridiculous over dumb stuff (my mom chose the issue of "Jeff should always drive you everywhere and come pick you up or you shouldn't go see him at all because otherwise he likes you cause you're easy cause you drive yourself to see him") and it sucks! it's mike and jeff's theory that held true for me... my mom doesn't try to control me anymore after this past winter break.

how do you make it friends only? i need it. cuz you knwo..so many bad things are written on here..yeah right.

you have to make each entry friends only. i started doing it a year after I started doing it and I went back and made all my old entries friends only, and every time you make a new entry you set it to be able to viewable by friends only, except for one post you leave public that says that your journal is friends only, like in mine i made a picture.
