so they know the answer, how to get him better, but do they know why this happened? does this happen to all crohn's patients?

no, it just depends on the severity of your case... apparently his is rather severe. i was told by his mother that he has a tendency to not take his medications until he starts to feel bad. he'd been taking them since the day we met, so i assume he'd been feeling bad for a while... needless to say, when this is all done and over with, he'll be taking his medications.

oof, that sucks a lot. i'm sure it will all work itself out-- and who knows? they may come up with a cure for crohn's disease. i'm sure doctors somewhere are working on one.
