cockroaches aren't black, so it was probably just a beetlebug. still pretty gross tho. it probably came on the lettuce b/c if you don't take special care to wash the lettuce in the backroom it can have bugs or dirt on it-- the lettuce suppliers essentially just pull the lettuce from the ground and put it straight in a box without doing anything to it at all, it's all up to the kitchen staff. i let a ladybug slip past me once and the kids took their free meal and then didn't tip me. jerks.

I can honestly say that made me want to vomit and if that were me i would have left as well. Definately gonna watch out for that black lettus (LETTUCE). ~English major you know.
