I don't think the business part matters b/c you're not going to work in business, you're going to tell businesses how to communicate. Don't cave and do what daddy always said. Be strong. Fight the power.

oh but that's the fun part! i mean, i liked editing papers in high school. and it would so fun to give people grades...

hmmm... I think being a corporate communicator sounds kind of fun. But money isn't everything either. To teach at a community college, do you need a master's or a Ph.D? I'm not really sure. If it's a Ph.D., then you'll have to devote a lot of years to school, so keep that in mind...

to teach at a community college you just need your masters. but i'm sure you need a high degree to get anywhere in corporate communicating too. i'm gonna make an appointment with career services here... but they don't seem to have any open appointments right now.
