I think I need to be skinnier.

The modern definition of beauty, thin, cheekbones, etc. was invented by fashion designers because they think that their clothes hang better on thinner women. After all, it is much easier to fit a dress on a thin wire hanger (which is, in my opinion very similar to the body types of most models) than on a creature of ( Read more... )

its only designers who love 0 models, they are such a small percentage of the population, maybe it gives the designers a false sence of exclusivity. I dont know.

I honestly don’t know anyone who would prefer to have a girl that weights 4 pounds to a girl that weights around 135 - 145. I mean, when I guy hugs a girl I would imagine he would like to feel a little meat then bones. You are perfect sweetie, dont change, lol.

ah! Brittni!!! I've had these thoughts exactly! I mean, not as much as the rest of the rant, but definitely the Marilyn Monroe stuff! I've thought about that a lot. The main thing that made me realize it was that I was in Culinary Arts one day (before I dropped it to retake Precalc) and I was flipping through the pages when I saw a picture of Marilyn that sort of shocked me. She was lying on a beach (I believe) or maybe just randomly lying somewhere. But she was naked. She was lying on her side with her arms and legs positioned to where you couldn't see anything. But she actually had a body. I mean a slight amount of fat, probably at least a little cellulite, the whole nine yards. But she still looked really beautiful. But you just always hear about how she was such a stunning beauty and for todays standards, she would have definitely be considered fat.

I would like to say Brittni that you are an incredibly attractive girl contrary to what you may believe. I jest with you in class because you are, and you should be secure with that fact. You're pretty, deal with it.
