I usually don't go out of my way to read Snarry, but of course I had to read this because your writing makes me WRITHE ABOUT IN PUREST GLEE.
As well you know.
Seriously, your sentence structure, your imagery, the spaces, the dream-like quality to the whole thing that speaks PERFECTLY about Snape's sense of detachment, it's all pitch perfect and absolutely beautiful.
"and I find that I can tolerate these" - You HAD me at this line. I was actually squeaking at the fantasticness of that whole sentence.
"his startling green eyes meet mine again. They plead with me for a moment, either to forgive him or for something else," - We must have been writing these fics at the same time, right? WE ARE AS ONE BRAIN D:
"He pushes his hands into the pockets of his jeans, creating identical bulges." - HOW MANY IDENTICAL BULGES? :DDDD
I love this, and you, and all things you write, god dammit.
(ps. using my icon of MASSIVE GAYISTS just for you)

It's true - there is no longer a difference between our brains. This has intriguing evil genius ramifications you realise? Yes?
I love your icon, almost as much as I like the image of them getting all happy on a roof before falling into a bouncy castle. I'm glad that sentence made sense to you.
Bouncy bouncy..ahving such a good time...boucny bouncy...shoes all in a line...
By the way, recognise my icon? :)
