Kitty cat

My cat has taken to sleeping in her litter tray.

She has a blanket and her own little box she adopted a while ago. She is old. Maybe she's lost the rest of her mind? Should I be concerned? Or simply chalk it up to being one of these weird cat things?

I've owned several cats, and from my experience, it's not a good sign unless something has changed in the house like a new roommate or new pet, etc. But I would take her to the vet and have her blood checked and body felt for lumps, etc. A checkup. I just had it done for mine and it wasn't too expensive, but I'm in the States, so...

Whenever we left Ginger at a cathome/pound thingy if we went away and noone could look after him, he used to sit in his litter tray and ignore people...but he was weird.
I don't really know, she is an old sausage but you'd think the box would be more comfy? has she been wandering off outside alot on her own?

I'm a little confused by your comment, but if a cat is wandering off on their own a lot, it could be a sign that they are looking for a place to die. Not to alarm you. Either way, older cats should get checkups more often, especially if their behaviour changes. :/

In my experience, it's usually as simple as needing some cheap steroids or antibiotics.

Okay, I'm reformatting my hard drive now and reinstalling from scratch. *CRIES* Later, mate. Hopefully!

My old cat used to sit in his litter tray when he was peeved with people so was inquiring if this was the only change of behaviour.
