I got a job at the kzoo nature center (research department).
I look for certain species of birds and their nests & record data.
I get to be outside all day long. :)

someone has stolen my pumpkins, gords and indian corn!! I thought they'd be safe on the steps of our fenced in backyard. apparently not. I guess that means no festive still-lifes (or pumpkin seeds). shame shame

i find this transition to autumn difficult at times. strange, but also very beautiful. it reminds me of our own seasons, our own deaths and rebirths. love this moment because it will never happen again!
