First the Democrats have taken over the House (meaning we control the Committees) and bring the first woman to be the Speaker of the House. Then, Democrats take over a majority of the governorships in the US. Now Rumsfeld is leaving his post...wow...great job Democrats. Way to work hard and not give up. my concern is that this country is still inhabited by racists and sexist. As a result, the Dems will not will if they do not end up with a white male in the final run for President. As much as I would LOVE to see a change in the demographic that has the Presidential position...this just won't happen. If we end up with Hilary or Obama running against a Republican, the Dems will lose.
Yet another inconvenient truth. Sorry to say.
