Really good questions dreamingtiger June 12 2007, 11:15:15 UTC
Again...with the really good questions. I'm not sure getting over an ex has to be slow and/or painful. It really seems to depend on the two people who were in the relationship. Some breakups are mutual, others are not, and in the end that's a big part of what determines the rules of the a breakup. Can you imagine a situation where a breakup is preferable to staying in a relationship and can you imagine the situation visa versa? Are there times when either of these two situations are not able to accurately describe what is preferable? If you can then you're already a step ahead of most people because you can see the issue from other perspectives. And don't worry about being alone, that is when we make are greatest changes and grow the most.
