I don't know what my problem is. I feel so "wishy-washy," and I don't like the feeling. My roomate and I had a conversation last night, and we finally agree on something: We both hate college. I mean, seriously, I hate it there. I have no friends, I don't do anything, and I feel like my whole purpose there is pointless ( Read more... )

If you don't think a degree in theatre will help you, don't do it. Get a general degree in something else. YOu want to be a good mother? Maybe get a degree in child care. I don't know. I really think you should have a degree. If not just because someone might look down upon you if you don't. If you have an Education or a child care degree you could work at your church as the child director or something. You will feel better in your new apartment. You'll have two people to confide in. Don't give up. God wouldn't have made it possible for you to go to college if He didn't want you to. You can always call me if you need someone to talk to.

You could

A) Try to get a degree where you work with people, like social worker, psychologist, guidance counselor, nurse, etc. (since you want to comfort people and help them realise their dreams)

B) Continue on your present course and hope for the best, or

C) Cast off your garments and run off to the forest to become a hunter-gatherer (something I've always felt strangely compelled to try at times like these)

Of course there are other options too, but this is what popped to mind.

thanks jacob, for the ideas...especially the last one. Actually, me and Alisa had, at one point, thought about moving to New York and becoming professional bums! Still sounds exciting to me! Lol.

Hey Ashley. I know how you feel about wanting God's will but not knowing what it is. I have the same problem there. I wish I could tell you something but I suppose that all I can do is take Donnie's advice and just listen and pray. I love you Ash and so does God. In the bible it says that everything works together for the good of those that love Christ. I know that that doesn't really seem to make much of a difference in the here in now and is slightly exasperating, but I will be praying for you.
